XAT 2016 MBA Exam
XLRI (Xavier Labor Research Institute, Jamshedpur) on the behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) would conduct XAT 2016 on 3 January 2016 to offer admissions to interested and eligible candidates in MBA programs in all the participating institutes. XAT 2016 MBA Exam Pattern
Mode of the XAT MBA Exam is offline. Candidate must mark answer using black/blue ball pen on an OMR sheet.
XAT MBA 2016 Exam would be split into two papers – (I) Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation & (II) General Knowledge and Essay.
Breakdown of questions: Verbal and Logical Ability – 30, General Knowledge – 30, Decision Making – 25, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation – 36, Essay – One topic.
Candidate would be given 3 hours (140 minutes for Paper 1 and 40 minutes for Paper 2) to solve the exam.
1 mark would be given for correct and ¼ marks would be cut for incorrect answer.
Marks of General Knowledge section will not be considered in first stage of selection but in final selection stage.
XAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria
It is necessary for the candidate to complete graduation degree (minimum three years duration) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized state or central university from India/abroad on or before 10 June 2016. Those who are in the final year of graduation can apply if they complete their graduation on or before 10 June 2016 and produce the relevant proof at counselling round.
XAT 2016 Application Form
Candidate has to register on the official website of XAT to appear in the XAT MBA Exam. Once the registration is complete, login details would be sent on the registered email ID. These details must be used to access the account and complete rest of the application form. In the form, all the details must be entered correct, complete, and valid. Also, scanned images of signature and photograph must be uploaded. Last step includes payment of application fee either in online and offline mode and generate printout of the form to complete the process.

XAT 2016 Application Fees
Application fee is Rs.1000 which can be paid thru online payment gateway, in cash, or DD. Those who are paying via cash or DD must send their confirmation page within 15 days of printing the pay-in slip or from the date of issue of the DD. It is mandatory to mention name, address, mobile number, and application number on the back of the DD.
