What is XAT?

Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT is the name of the test conducted by XLRI for inducting the candidates to its valued Management programs. It is a national level test which tests the holistic approach of the candidate. The test holds the prerequisite condition for entry into the one of the most sought after institutions of the country. Through this examination, the following courses are offered at XSM:

• Business Management
• Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR)
• General Management Program (GMP) which is 15 months program

The XAT is one of the toughest Examinations of the country which provides entry into the Xavier Institute of Management and Goa Institute of Management. The examination is conducted once every year in the month of January which sees lakhs of candidates throng to take admission.

The XAT 2016 Application form is expected to be out in the last week of August following which the candidates can log on the official website of the College and fill the Application Form. The last date of filling up of the Application form for XAT 2016 will be November.

XAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates who want to appear for XAT 2016 Examination must get to know the eligibility criteria to fill the Application Form online.

• The interested candidates must possess the Bachelor Degree in any course from a recognized University by UGC and MHRD.
• The candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to fill the form provided they complete their degree by 2016.
• The candidates who have secured marks less than 50% are also eligible but they will have to submit their marks detail latest by 2016.

What is the correct way to apply for XAT 2016?

• First of all the candidates are required to visit the official website of XAT
  
  
• On the website they will find a Registration form, fill it by giving name, phone number and Email id. Remember the details must be valid.
  
  
• Once the registration is complete, the candidates will get a XAT ID and Password through message on the phone number they had provided.
  
  
• Now, click on the XAT Application Form 2016, and furnish the details which the form is asking for.
  
  
• Upload your recent scanned color photograph and signature in the requisite columns.
  
  
• The candidates will then have to pay the Application fee either through net banking or through Credit and debit card.
  
  
• Once the payment is done, the XAT Online Registration confirmation page will be generated which the candidates need to send to the XAT office through Speed post or courier before a specified date.
