XAT 2016 Application Form

The Xavier Aptitude Test is scheduled to be held on 3rd January 2016. The official notification confirming the tentative dates of the examination will be released in the last week of August 2015. The XAT 2016 Application form can be filled online. The candidates who want to take the XAT  Exam can apply online by filling the online application form. The XAT Application form 2016 has been released on the official website of the Examination. Candidates can apply online till 30 November 2015. There will be a time period for which the XAT Online Registration process will be open to all candidates who are eligible to take the exam. The candidates must fill the XAT 2016 Application form before the last date to apply for the same, which falls in December 2015. No entries will be entertained after the due date of the application process.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a graduate of any discipline from a recognized university.
  
  
• The candidates who secure less than 50% marks can also appear for the XAT Exam as long as they submit their mark sheets to the participating business colleges during the application process.
  
  
• The candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply provided they are able to submit their certificates and documents by the due date prescribed.
  
  
• To fill XAT 2016 Application form, all the eligibility terms and conditions must be fulfilled.

Application Process

• The first step is to visit the official website of the XAT 2016.
  
  
• Click on the tab indicating ‘XAT 2016 Registration’.
  
  
• Fill in the details required.
  
  
• You will be asked to upload a scanned copy of your photograph and your signature in a particular format which must be strictly followed for successful application.
  
  
• Once you fill in the information click on ‘submit’.
  
  
• Make sure you take a print out of the filled XAT 2016 Application form for further reference.

Application Fees

• The application fees can be paid using both online and offline methods.
  
  
• The application can be paid using credit card/debit card/net banking or cash payment or by Demand Draft.

Examination Pattern

• The XAT Exam pattern is likely to change considerably every year. However, there is a basic pattern followed which will help give you a sense of the pattern in which the questions are asked in the examination.
  
  
• The XAT 2016 Exam will be a written exam which has to be attempted in duration of 3 hours.
  
  
• The written Exam is divided into two papers.
  
  
• The Paper I is an objective type based paper which has to be attempted in 1 hours and 20 minutes.
  
  
• Paper II is a combination of objective type and multiple choice based questions to be attempted in 40 minutes.
  
  
• The Paper I has the following sections covered –
  
  

        1. Verbal Ability
        2. Decision Making & Analytical Reasoning
        3. Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.

• The Paper II has questions based on General Knowledge and also includes Essay writing.
