It is always good to have an efficient strategy to organize an event and spread your message in the best way.

For example, let us say you’re planning a cancer awareness event. You can choose the color of your custom-made bands, depending on what type of cancer the event will be about. Different colors symbolize different types of cancer. For example:

Pink is for breast and abdominal cancer, gold is for childhood cancer, gray is for brain cancer, blue is for colon cancer and white is for lung cancer.

Here are the main steps for organizing a successful event to spread your cause efficiently:

Step 1: Get Sponsors

Consider enlisting support from:

Healthcare organizations, including hospitals and treatment centers
Pharmaceutical companies
Local businesses
Cancer support groups, including the local American Cancer Society office
Churches and synagogues
Local TV, radio stations, newspapers and magazines – they can contribute to your cause by spreading the word about the event, including when and where it will be held

A good idea would be to imprint their logos on your wristbands.

Step 2: Get the Word Out

You can send a letter to the governor, county executive, director of hospital or cancer unit, or any other key person to request support for your event. Draft a proclamation for your area and send it together with a request for support. Think of the message (or messages) you are going to imprint on your wristbands.

Step 3: Settle Up the Details

A beautiful decoration will set the right atmosphere for your event. In case your event has a theme, it would be perfect if your decoration reflects it. You can use table skirts, flags, banners, balloons, and more. Next up – food! At any type of party or event, food always takes the center stage. Ask local restaurants or grocers if they are willing to donate food and recruit volunteers to help with serving. Make sure your guests are having a good time. There could be live music, craft tables, wristband raffles. If children will attend, make sure they’re having a good time by organizing some fun and interesting activities for them. Keep them busy with face-painting, scrabble and more. Invite guests on stage to tell their own personal stories and inspire those living with a history of cancer.

Step 4: Promotional Giveaways

A good party needs souvenirs and something really special to make it an unforgettable one. You can use different giveaway items like T-shirts, mugs, bags, wavers, and wristbands. Custom wristbands are considerably less expensive compared to other items. They can be worn every single day unlike T-shirts, for example. Customize your bracelets online and let them do their work.

Step 5: Design Your Own Rubber Bracelets Online

Remember Step 2? If you still haven’t come up with the right message or design for these items, here are some suggestions. First, choose the right color and decorate the wristband with a ribbon or any other clipart you desire. You can use simple words like “Hope” and “Faith” or inspirational phrases like “I Love Life”, “Strong Enough” or “No One Fights Alone”. Wearing silicone wristband with messages like this could remind survivors how brave they are and help them keep the faith.
