  • Metatarsal safety shoes- these shoes are designed to protect the upper part of the foot and bones. These safety shoes are usually worn in construction sites or jobs that involve lifting of heavy equipments and machines.
  • Electric hazard shoes- these shoes are made with a sole that helps reduce the potential of any employee receiving an electric shock when exposed to high voltage circuits and electricity. Employees working with electricity, high voltage machines, circuits, wiring wear these safety shoes.

Hence after looking at all the different types of safety shoes, one should realize that a proper pair of safety footwear would definitely help, as it is better to be safe than sorry.
