Stability: Shaping up career in private or public sector is excellent but only with the respect to gaining experience. This is why this sector faces off huge attrition. Fixed holidays: Government allots more than enough holidays per year for its employees which private sector lacks. Also, it bears the expenses incurred on tour-n-travel in some profiles. The government officials need not ask for permission for leave. Rather, they can take offs as per their requirement by fulfilling some mandatory yet simple formalities.
Life is secure: It does not matter what the status of economy or work is for govt. employee. The amount of his/her pension is credited as per pay scale to his/her account after accomplishing some documentation. If seek home loan or pay tax, they enjoy some exclusive benefits in return of their service from the government. They automatically become eligible to get subsidiaries, deduction in the payments that are mandatory for the non-government employees.
