Why Every Car Fan Should be Excited for Acura's 2016 NSX
Acura has been receiving a lot of attention lately due to its 2016 NSX model and most of, if not all, the attention has been good. This 2016 NSX has been in the works for quite a while and is something that a lot of car junkies are looking forward to. Just a couple of the highlights packed into this stylish sports car include awesome hybrid features, a powerful twin turbo engine, beautiful interior and exterior designs and other features that would cause any sports car fan to drool.
With the 2016 NSX being one of the more anticipated sports cars out there, Acura recently did a revealing in Nurburgring Germany which turned out to be a great success – especially considering what happened last time when Honda tried to reveal its prototype of the NSX hybrid.
For those who don’t know about Honda’s mishap in Nurburgring Germany, it is sufficient to say that their NSX hybrid left a burning—do forgive the pun—impression. Due to an exploding experimental battery, the car caught fire and burned to the ground.
However, with the most recent Acura 2016 NSX showing, there was no such tragedy. The car looks great and stands out from other sports cars on the market. It has a new lower front grill and air vents and seems to be ready to make its official appearance in the market.
It has been a long time since a new NSX came out, a quarter of a century to be exact. The original NSX is drastically different than the 2016 model in style and power. This second generation comes packed with immense power – a 75 degree V6 engine with three electric motors as well as a dual-clutch transmission. Basically, the NSX eats other sports cars for breakfast.
Ted Klaus, the engineer and global development leader for the Acura NSX talked about the vision behind their sports cars, the NSX specifically: "Our global team embraced the challenge to create a new sports car experience, leveraging new technology to deliver incredibly vivid performance in a vehicle that responds intuitively and immediately to the will of the driver."
Through the various reviews and responses from the public, it is clear that Acura was able to live up to its ideas and aspirations mentioned in the quote above. Even though the car is not technically available to the public yet, it looks as if it is going to be received with open arms by car fanatics around the world.
