dog and cat wrestleSo what generates so much hate between two of the worlds most famous enemies the dog and the cat? And is it really hate between each other that produces the fighting or is it something else, let's find out. For us, the people, cats and dogs are born enemies, we always assume that they are born enemies and that's just the way it is. But to be honest there are numerous cases all around the world where those two species are living in perfect harmony and are even good friends. So this theory doesn't stick up as well. What's the case then? Let's find out!

A big part of the all war thing going on between the two species is made up by, dog and cat believe it or not, cartoons. Yes dogs tend to chase cats but that doesn't necessarily mean that they hunt them as prey, in fact many of the dogs simply want to play with the cats, but the little lions just don't get the idea and are afraid. Seeing that on TV makes most of us believe that there is indeed something that those two just don't agree on. Another factor is also produced by us humans and it consists of that many dog people dislike cat people and from there they transfer that hatred onto their animals. That's something that the guys at pet sitting London have overcome with time, they simply love all animals, but as we know that's rarely the case with passionate dog or cat lovers.

A simple fact is that both dogs and cats are born predators. And while a dog will chase almost anything like squirrels, mice, and even other dogs - cats are just cat and dog fightmore abundant and on the radar more frequently. And of course the difference in size is enormous. If a big enough dog catches a small cat it can easily kill her even if he means just to play. That's maybe how many people got the impressions of the born enemies. Of course there are so many different dogs and cats that a man can never tell what's in their heads. There maybe some breeds of dogs that do hate cats but definitely not all of them. There is an old fairy tale about a dog a cat and an old man that lived together like best friends. Due to the circumstances the cat takes advantage of the dog and the canine is left alone and hungry on the street - that seems a plausible explanation of the hatred between those two, if you believe it of course.

Said in short dogs and cats are definitely not born enemies, maybe they become due to the circumstances. Or maybe there is something true about that fairytale after all - nobody knows. And after all i still wouldn't risk leaving a cat around while dogs are on the loose, the ones in particular just may hold a grudge on the poor kitty.
