Do you celebrate doggy holidays ?
We all celebrate our birthdays, anniversaries, name days and all other type of holidays during the year. But what about our loving pets, they have some of those too. Yes you might say that the doggy has no idea when is his birthday or which is the date that you bought him but that shouldn't stop you from doing a little,or big, celebration and to spoil your loyal friend. Sometimes a nice meal and a bit of cheering up will be just about enough, but there are certainly quite a lot more things that you can do and who knows the dog might actually feel that this day is a special one.
So first what type of doggy holidays do you celebrate? The obvious of
course is the dog's birthday, next in line the name day if there is any, the date that he became part of your family and if you wish the day he first started to give paw. So the first thing you should consider is which one of these or other will be celebrated and which not and how important they are for you. Set up a calendar and point the dates to make sure that they are remembered.
Next thing you should consider is the way of the celebration. The more simple way is to buy the doggy a special treat like an enormous leather bone a new toy or something like that. Another idea is to actually not include the dog but to invite friends and treat them for the well being of the puppy. And of course the third option is to make a party where your furry friend is the guest of honor. There are even some special dog cakes that are made spe
cially to make the birthday boy (or girl) feel how special this day really is.
Whatever you choose, make sure that everything is control, because our little furry friends can be quite messy and in some occasions that can even lead to the service of professional London builders. That's right a few dogs at a party sounds like trouble if you don't get things in control.
Of course this is a wonderful gesture towards man's best friend but to be honest it can take quite a lot of your free time, if you have any. In that case you can hire a local dog sitting company to help you with the preparations and the walking of the dog if needed. This way you will have the big celebration and regain your strength and time for the occasion.
Bottom line whether you celebrate or not your doggy's special days it's a good idea to spoil it every once in a while. After all you are all he's got and attention is all that a dog can possibly want. So try to find that spare time to spend with your pup, believe me you will never regret it.
