Canon printers are undoubtedly one of the popular and reliable printer manufacturing brands available in the market. But sometimes you can face errors and issues with your printer due to which the printer can stop responding to print commands. Steps to reset Canon printer:

·        The first step is to switch off your printer and remove all the extensions and cords from your printer.

·        Then, close the cover of the printer.

·        Plug the power cord into the main power source.

·        Then, long press the Go button on the printer control panel.

·        Keep pressing the Go button and press the power button at the same time.

·        Wait till the printer starts to switch on.

·        Then, release the Go button and you will see that the indicators have stopped blinking.

·        Then, press the Go button for six times.

·        This will reset the Brother printer back to default factory settings.

As mentioned above, there are many issues which can arise with printer like displaying low ink error even when you have replaced the ink cartridges. Most of the issues can be resolved through resetting the printer. Here’s how to reset a Canon printer. Follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps to reset Canon printer to factory settings:

·        Launch BRAdmin and select the printer to reset.

·        Open the “control” menu and then select “network configuration”.

·        Type in your password and click OK.

·        You will see an option to “factory reset”.

·        Click on that and the process is complete.

This is another way through which you can complete the reset process. Let’s have a look at the steps on another way of how to reset Canon printer. You can simply go to settings on the printer panel and select the reset option or perform the reset manually. Keep the printer on and unplug the printer. Wait for 15-20 seconds. Now, plug the cable back into the printer. Switch on the printer and run a test print to make sure it’s printing fine.

Thereafter, you can go ahead and make a test print with your printer to check if everything is working properly and the issue has been resolved. Make sure that the printer is connected to a Wi-Fi network. The printer should be selected as the default printing device on your computer through which you are making prints. Another thing that you must be aware of is that both the printer and the device should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
