by Sreeja Talukder Content Writer

Ghee is the liquid that comes out of the cow milk, when it is extracted through a clarification process of dairy butter. Ghee has a high concentration of natural fats and the essential oils. However, using an organic ghee substitute is the  best for our health. The grass-fed ghee is a better substitute for your cooking needs. Ghee is commonly used in Indian cuisine and is gaining popularity in western countries too.

Ghee is a better butter

It is an effective and healthy fat that enhances taste, improves texture and offers several health benefits like lowering bad cholesterol. Ghee is considered to be a great replacement for butter. Ghee can substitute all cooking oils, which are mostly vegetable oils. Ghee is also rich in vitamins A, D, and E and has a very low level of calories. You can cook with ghee substitutes like refined butter, olive oil, coconut oil, canola oil and sesame oil. But they will not  provide you the health benefits the ghee provides. Ghee takes care of your colon, digestive system, eyesight, cures constipation, makes skin glowing and improves your overall health.

Ghee can replace any cooking oil. The ghee substitute benefits also include: it is much better for your health as compared to vegetable oil. It is highly absorbable by the body, hence safe for consumption. It is easily stored-friendly as it does not go rancid easily. Cows that are grass-fed produce better quality milk. So make sure you are buying a good quality organic ghee.
