The Japanese auto manufacturer was pretty confident about this car’s success in the nation. The vehicle does have some good features which places it apart from all other mini cars in the country. It may not be as sporty as the Swift or as charming as the i20, but Micra looks fresh and futuristic. The vehicle is certainly not as equipped as the Jazz, but the interior is built as fine as any other competition in its segment. Nissan Micra carries a distinguishable personality built out of special qualities which it inherits from its previous generations as well as from Nissan inventory.

Exterior Design:

Automobile makers focus on aesthetics, safety and cost reduction as primary areas while structuring the exterior body of a vehicle. Nissan Micra lives out of these basic ideas. The small car is free from thick characteristic lines. The rear of this automobile is lifted up to make it more aerodynamic. The roof is chiseled out of light weight material. The Micra weighs just 945 kg and have 0.32 as its coefficient of drag. Both these factors improve the performance and fuel efficiency of the vehicle.

Interior Build:

Nissan introduces itself to the country with the flavour of its design in the cabin. The auto maker has placed few control buttons to form circles on the center console. This design aspect along with circular AC vents makes the dashboard eye captivating. Control panel of automatic AC is the first thing that comes to notice when a person enters this car. A small circular LCD display positioned at the center of this panel displays temperature and other specs of automatic AC.

First In Segment Features:

Micra is also known for some of its first in segment features. Nissan introduced the engine start/stop button and the push button door lock system for the first time in hatchback segment in India. These features increase the pleasure of ownership for the person.

Performing Engine:

Nissan Micra has both petrol and diesel engines as options. Nissan and Renault companies have joined together and developed these power units. The HR series petrol engine develops 76 hp of power and the K9K series diesel motor develops 64 hp of power. Both these engines are energetic and do not let the enthusiasm of the driver down at any point of time. This is one area where the vehicle can outperform its competent models in the market. The light weight of the car is another factor which favours its’ on-road performance.
