Network Dependency: NAS devices work with LAN (Local Area Network), thus, it may get effected due to congestion or traffic.

Hard Drives work the same and do not have a lot of difference in it until or unless there a different handy for each system. People who spend a lot of hours working and have significant RAID Configurations, you might want to opt for NAS Drives.
