What is a coronavirus?

Coronavirus is from the family of viruses, which can cause illness to animals or humans. In humans, the coronaviruses can cause respiratory problems, which can range from the common cold to severe diseases. This disease includes the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Recently discovered coronavirus disease is COVID-19

What is COVID-19?

COVID-19 is a disease that is infectious and is caused by a virus called Coronavirus. This new virus and infection were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?

The common symptoms found in the patients of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness, and dry cough. Some times the patients can even have aches and pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, or diarrhea. These symptoms of Coronavirus are mild and start slowly and steadily. Some times people get infected but don’t develop any signs or feel unwell. Many people around 80% of the patients recover from the disease without requiring any particular treatment.

Also, 1 out of every six people who are having COVID-19 becomes seriously ill and finds difficulty in breathing. High Aged Group People or those who are having medical problems are more prone to develop severe illness. Medical issues include high blood pressure, heart problems, or diabetes. People with fever, cough, and difficulty in breathing should seek medical attention, and if any person shows these symptoms then, he should immediately Find Doctor for the same as it can cause a threat to your life.

 How is COVID-19 spreading?

People who are having COVID-19 can transfer it to another person. The disease is spreading from one person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth, which are spreading when the person having Coronavirus coughs or exhales. When a person coughs, these droplets land on some objects which are around the person. Then the other people who touch these objects catch COVID-19, and after passing the virus, they rub their own body like eyes, nose, or mouth.

People also get affected if they breathe in droplets from a person with COVID-19 who coughs out or exhales droplets, and this is the reason that it is essential to stay away from a person who is sick at least more than 1 meter (3 feet).

Also, the studies recommend that the virus that causes COVID-19 is transmitted through contact with respiratory droplets rather than through the air, so this virus is not in the air.

Should Do people worry about COVID-19?

COVID-19 infection is usually mild, especially for old age people and children. And it can cause extreme illness. Also, the people who catch it need hospital care and are therefore quite reasonable for people to worry that how the COVID-19 outbreak will affect them and their families.

Coronavirus is a big concern, and we can channel our interests into actions to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities. First and foremost among these activities are regular and thorough hand-washing and good respiratory hygiene. Secondly, keep informed and follow the advice of the local health authorities, including any restrictions put in place on travel, movement, and gatherings. Also, Social Distancing is essential to control its deadly effect.
