What blind flange is and where is it used among steel pipe

Flanges are various and we need to pick them up according to our need during the engineering project’s process. Today, our main topic would be blind flange: who is it? And my stainless steel pipe can use this? Or it is used for other steel pipes?

Blind flange, a round plate, has all of the relevant blowholes except center hole. Due to this feature, it is generally used to close off the ends of the steel pipe’s systems and pressure vessel openings. Thus, we know where is it. And talking about benefit, it also permits easy access to the interior of a line or vessel once it has been sealed and must be reopened. Generally speaking, a blind flange is inserted into a pipeline when there is needed. This would make the flanges down stream to be disconnected without fear of losing liquid. Many times this type of blockade is used when adding another line onto an existing pipeline or when a new valve is being added. This blockade is also used to shut down a line when it is no longer needed.
