Comparison of flow chart for ERW steel pipe and SSAW steel pipe production process

There are lots of articles saying about the difference between ERW steel pipe and SSAW steel pipe from the aspect of characters, functions and so on. Today, there is no much words about the difference for them.

We can have a clear view for the difference of the flow chart for these two kinds of steel pipe according to the different picture for production process.

First of all, we know that there is no big difference for the preparation work for production process, such as the material inspection, uncoiling and flattening.

Secondly, the main difference is in the molding process. For ERW steel pipe, there are steps like air cooling, annealed by medium frequency, on lineultrasonic testing and removal of inside and outside burrs, high frequency welding, while the SSAW steel pipe has the step of coil cut and butt, pr-curved guide plate, pipe molding, inside and outside welding, steel pipe delivery.

Thus, with different production process and inspection process, the function would be different too.
