Ways to reach trip from Inca trail to Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is located in the Eastern Cordillera of southern Peru. The Primary structures of Machu Picchu are Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Most of the outlying buildings have been reconstructed to give tourists a better idea of how they originally built. Machu Picchu was declared one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. Inca trail is the piligrimage route that was built by the ancient Incas to reach Machu Picchu. It is considered as one of the most popular hiking trails in South America. Here is the duration of a journey which will be either short Inca trail to Machu Picchu 2 days or classic Inca trail to Machu Picchu 4 days trip.


Way to reach Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is through Cusuco- Piscacucho. The Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 4 days is a mountainous route  and goes through a beautiful mountain scenery and amazing cloud forest, past rushing rivers and dozens of Inca ruin. The classic Inca Trail is resided by rare orchids, 419 species of birds, and even spectacled bears. The trek for this beautiful place starts at Ollantaytambo which 88 km nearest to the railway station from Cusco to Aguas. You can go to Machu Picchu by train within 2 days and to reach there you have to go to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley of the Incas to explore this traditional Inca village. by Taking the train to Aguas Calientes at 12:58 pm you can also go to rainbow mountain hike in 2 days from Cusco which is a short trip as compared to Machu Picchu

On the 2nd day, you will have the chance to climb this mountain which is available at the time of your booking. In Machu Picchu, you will have a two hour guided tour and after this, you will have some time to explore Inca citadel on your own.  There are several species and vegetation available which you can explore on your own. There are over 150 different palaces, temples, dwellings, and other structures within the Machu Picchu.  This place attracts as an astronomical calendar, and the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of Three Windows, both of which were devoted to the sun god. If you have to return to Aguas Calientes then you have to be at the railway station at least 30 minutes before your train leaves. Otherwise, you can enjoy 2 more days for such a beautiful and amazing place.

The other ways of the trek are to visit through Runkurakay Pass which is an amazing and Inca stairway to Machu Picchu which is 12966 ft above. This is the place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and rest for the day.

Finally arriving on 4th day at Machu Picchu where you will be able to view the beautiful Machu Picchu Inca city.
