If you want to see the rainbow mountain hike 2 days at all costs, I suggest you look for an agency that also proposes Red Valley. In this way, even if the first part of the trek disappoints you, you can do it again with the second.

In Cusco you will find the same tours at many different prices. You can find trekking even at a lot less. I do not know what attention guides can have when they accompany 50/60 people at a time or at much higher prices for private services. Unless they take you at different times of day to not find anyone I would never take a private service.
