see quite so much pizzaz in newer pieces. However, the main concept and ideas
still remain.
Italian furniture is often put together with
strong metals and natural materials, like marble and iron. They feature
intrinsic outlines, clean surfaces, and a well-constructed framework.
Conventional Italian furniture is designed for a big family, so think of
oversized sofas and large dining room tables. While Scandanavian furniture is
simple and sleek, Italian furniture is bold and draws attention.
