Using Obesity Models to Understand Healthcare Effects of Obesity
by Health Edu Health EducaionOne adult of four is overweight, and the governments around the
world have taken a number of steps to address this problem and increase the
cost of healthcare services. But this is not enough to prevent cardiovascular
and other health diseases. Belief in the model of health used for nutrition and
hydration indicates that people are more likely to follow a healthy diet and
make lifestyle changes if they feel that failure to change their diet would
result in the development of serious illness. The advantages of change outweigh
the barriers that arise as a result of the changes; they bring enough value to
your life to cause a change. The obesity problem is also prevalent in African
nations like Sudan.
The obesity
model for learning in Sudan can be used to demonstrate that people do not
always think about the harmful effects on their health every time they eat
unhealthy food. Many health-related activities
are used as coping mechanisms, and when you get rid of them, it can lead to increased level of stress. Consequently, the
change is more likely to be unsuccessful. Improve the perception of control to
help people feel more powerful and effective. People involved in an unhealthy
diet may already know the dangers of an unhealthy diet and might already have
health problems due to eating unhealthy food, but enjoy the food, and continue
to eat. This can lead to violations in the mind of a person known as cognitive
dissonance. Doctors and nurses can use the obesity model for learning in Sudan
to educate the students about the health effects of obesity, as well as tempt
them to bring a change.
Brief speech is a great way to present the concept of change in
a block. Short-term intervention in the treatment of alcohol dependence in
primary health care was successfully demonstrated. Minimal intervention is a resourceful
process where the health care provider tries to determine how the user of the
service perceives behavior, calls into question the point of view on healthy
eating and helps them to weigh all the pros and cons. The main goal is to
convince a person of cognitive interaction in behavior. Coinciding with the
stages of change, a person enters the phase of the change in question and is
more inclined to change behavior and support changes.
Obesity isn’t a permanent condition, proper diet, exercise, and meditation
can lead to weight loss. Nurses can help prevent cardiovascular and other
diseases by promoting healthy nutrition and hydration. Furthermore, the
patients can be educated about the self-examination and self-care with the help
of obesity model for learning in Sudan.
Minimal intervention is an effective process that can lead
people to a new concept in a short time, and it worked well. Additional help could
be provided by combining the health belief model with the planned theory of
behavior. In this context, the positions, mechanisms for overcoming obstacles,
scanned observations and recommendations on data, identified obstacles, social
networks and the discussed and repeated context should be questioned. It must
be a positive experience that makes an autonomous unit. Cognitive-behavioral
therapy can also be adapted and proven to be effective in preventing myocardial
infarction.
