Curiosity is an integral part of human nature. Questioning beliefs, society or even questioning our own lives is something that we all go through at least once in our lives. We all feel an urge to quest, but how many of us really make that happen?

Although if we see through a different and unbiased perspective, these questions cannot be found in the environment we live in. Some say traveling can open your perspective and help you know more about your own mind and often it works really well for most people.

Honestly, you cannot ponder about the meaning of life by watching a travel and living programs sitting on your couch. One has to go out there and feel it on their skin. The best thing about traveling is that it gives you some great experiences on which you can base the values of our life.

The meaning of life doesn’t lie under a pile of some history or philosophical books but under the shadow of stars, the vastness of the ocean, and deep valleys of the mountains. That experience can only be gained through travelling. Travel gets us to places and makes us indulge in diverse cultures we have been forming an opinion about.

In our country, travel has not been given a very rapturous position yet, but there are people who are repositioning themselves towards travel. Indians, in particular, need to travel more and more, because the environment and society our mindsets grow and develop, is very restricted. The truth for us is what we have been listening, reading or absorbing.

Our country is full of diversity when it comes to destinations and cultures. From the cultural heritage of the north to the religious sensibilities of the south, India is a manifold of various societies. We have coastal areas in Gokarna to beautiful villas in Nainital, which one can traverse through.

Another major advantage of travelling is that it acts as a mirror of introspection. Travelling let our flaws float above the surface making us question, yet again, about the way we have been conceiving ourselves. It shatters the very convincing fact that we ‘need' to be perfect in every way possible.

Again a conviction, which is a truth to us, gets segmented into different possible scenarios on why is it okay to be not a perfectionist. While travelling to different parts, we learn to embrace our imperfections and learn each time we face them.

So, travelling isn’t just about going out on vacations, but it’s the solace wherein lies the answers to all our questions.
