Many people prefer to travel via flight as it saves time and they also expect their trips to be hassle-free from the beginning. And if something does not go as per our expectations and they receive Travel Complaints, the mood gets spoiled. For this they either book the ticket through the website directly or look for agents to do the same. Therefore travel agent frauds are quite prevalent in India. The most common travel agent/agency complaints include refund not provided, hotel denying check-in, fake promises etc.

Therefore, it is a responsibility of the travel companies to resolve the issues encounter by their customers. One should only book their hotels or flights via trustworthy sites to avoid fraud. However, sometimes even these reputed travel companies commit an error.

6. Clear Trip: Clear Trip, also called Clear Trip Travel Services Private Limited, is a global online travel company that was founded in 2016. It is based in Dubai and Mumbai.

7. Travel Guru: Travel Guru is India’s leading and growing travel website. It offers flights, holiday packages, and hotels at the best prices.

Along with this wide usage and rapid expansion, this sector has faced various challenges. Some widespread travel complaints include -

1. Tickets canceled, but money is not refunded

2. No refund against booked packages

How to resolve Travel complaints?

Step 1: Go to the official website of the travel and email their customer service address as indicated.

Step 2: In addition, you can contact their 24*7 customer support number for assistance.

Step 3: It is better to directly contact the airline company through the customer care number or by sendung email.

Step 4: If the travel does not resolve the complaint, think about sending a legal notice.

Step 5: If all else fails, submit a complaint to the consumer forum for additional measures.

Flights booking canceled : Most common issues today faced by consumers is booking cancellation at the last moment leaving you helpless. Flight cancellation at the last moment leads major loss also.

Booking dates changed: Change in the date of the journey is also the another reason of conflict between consumer and Travel company which consumer has to suffer.

Refund not given : Travel Co. usually decline to refund the amount if something unexpected happens, such as illness or accident of a family member.

Misbehaviour of staff : Most passengers faced rude behavior, absent onboard services, and poor language skills from the staff or representatives.

Customer care not responding : Sometimes at the time of problem customer care is not responding due to carelessness of staff which leaves the passengers in grievances and loss.

Bad hotel booked: Many passengers get frustrated because of not getting bad hotel which they are not expected to get.

Changed Seat number : Changing seat numbers on flights is a common issue for passengers, often leading to frustration and inconvenience.

Fraudulent actions carried out by booking agents : Certain dishonest agents might participate in deceptive activities like charging customers too much, selling counterfeit tickets, or giving false information about travel plans.

Fake Club membership sold : Some customers got inappropriate club memberships which have been sold fraudulently.
