Traffic Exchange Alternative
I have been using traffic exchanges for over 10 years and had great success with them in the early years, but the environment keeps shifting toward more personal methods for making initial contact. They have evolved so far toward focusing on traffic generation, instead of producing desired actions like in the old days.That led me to do some comparison that has me using them less than before and here's why. With a traffic exchange most people just push for more traffic with contests and rewards to encourage mad clicking in the hundreds. With that goal in mind, who could possibly be truly considering what is offered on each page? I tried a new exchange just last week and generated 1,000 views of a compelling splash page that resulted in ZERO click thrus, not one person did anything but let the timer run out and click to the next page.
Actually I was still happy, because my new sponsor paid me 600 credits at DownlineRefs for being his referral at the traffic exchange. Then I added another 400 credits from clicking ads with much less effort than I extended to get the same number of credits from the traffic exchange, so I had 1,000 credits for each.
The end result was, the traffic exchange credits produced 1,000 visitors to my website with no further action and the 1,000 credits at DownlineRefs produced a CUSTOMER that completed the enrollment form at my website and sent me proof. That customer allowed me to give away another 50 free bids for Zeekler and I got paid again. It also allowed me to start a dialog with my sponsor so I could help him get more referrals and foster further interaction. I just started this strategy, but I have picked up 3 new customers this month already. Now I set up a new website at http://GetYoursFree.com to kick it into high gear, so lets see what happens.

TE's for the most part are ineffective today. I agree, the surfers are only into promoting their own sites. I still use them daily, but it's only one segment of my marketing strategies. I look at it like this, if I see an ad enough times I will eventually check it out. I believe that the surfers will do the same with my sites advertised. To me it's more like a hobby that pays off every now and then. Like a slot machine...lol

TE are What its are Traffic Generator...
Whit a Team can generate a lot of Traffic but never a constant critical mass of subscribers.
it`s like you fliging a bucket fill with watter on the walls, maybe remain some drops to persuade the Walls!
Is the most unefficient method to have real interested subscribers.

Yes think about it if a guy been surfing traffic exchanges for 5 plus years imagine he has seen
every business idea possible plus he is probably multi tab surfing so he might not be seeing
you splash page at all till the last second? So you would think a splash page with sound would be slightly more effective and traffic exchanges that don't reward multi tab surfing like the apsense traffic exchange where you know people have to look at your website are more effective.

It is like fishing if you are using the same hooks and bait that
they already seen before it wont catch there attention..
I think myself when i surf exchanges and it would take
something really cool and free for me to want to sign up.
This one guy had a really cool splash page it was a cat and dog
doing funny stunts and the music was hilarious i saw that and signed up..

Yeah The golden TEs years are over. You have to click much more to get results. You should also use self branded capture and splashpages to increase your results. Keep that in mind -> DUSAP = Dont use standard affiliate pages.

Success online is all about being consistent and offering your readers something of Value. I find exchanges work best with Lead Capture pages that offer something of value for free. Great article!
