Image The traditional overhead crane mainly adopts AC current wound rotor resistance to start and adjust as well as relay-conductor to control. This controlling system has following shortages.
1 Burning loss and breakage of the motor and resistance often happen due to grave working environment and heavy work.
2 Relay-conductor controlling system has weak reliability, complex operation and high faulty.
   3 The rotor string resistance has soft mechanical performance, rotating speed changing with load change, and unideal speed regulation which makes resistance heat, waste power energy and low efficiency.
Only thoroughly changing the traditional controlling system, can those problems be solved. A wide range of application of the typical AC current frequency control device and programmable controller provide a favorable condition for application of frequency speed regulation technology controlled by single chip. Frequency speed regulation will have a bright future because of good reliability, excellent speed regulation performance, and energy saving benefit.
Overhead crane plays an important role in the national economy,as a lifting appliance. After decads of overhead crane for sale development, the manufacturers and users accumulate experience and innovates technology on manufacturing craft, maintenance and management to promote overhead crane development. But mechanical breakage often happens, which is caused by mechanical fatigue with frequent load work and overlarge mechanical vibration. Therefore, besides design improvement on machinery, improving AC current exchange and reducing braking impact are also important.
