5 SMALLEST DOGS YOU won't BELIEVE EXIST

The world consists of 2 groups of people; those that love cats (cat people) and those that love dogs (dog people). The dog people believe that dogs are faithful companions and will stand by your side no matter the situation.

They are different kinds of dogs; the aggressive ones that provide security and those that are simply so small and adorable. These small dogs are cute, attractive, and hard to resist.

Having these small dogs around the house makes you very cautious to avoid stepping on them. This article will show you the five smallest dogs you won’t believe exist. They include:

Chihuahua: The famous Chihuahua which was discovered in the 1850s is the smallest dog breed in the world. This dog is very portable and can be taken anywhere without being detected; it has a size ranging from 15-23 centimeters. Besides being a toy dog, they are also known for their long straight ears and their short fur. Besides their unique appearance, they are also good guard dogs despite their size.

Pomeranian: This dog breed is similar to a teddy bear because of its physical appearance. The Pomeranian is exceptionally tender and adorable and can be recommended for individuals who love to sleep with pets or toys. This dog is known for its small size and easy adaptation to any environment, and is classified as a toy dog; it has a weight ranging between 1.5 and 3.5 kilograms and a height of up to 22 centimeters.
Bellanca: This species of a dog similar to that of the Bichon but originally from Russia. They weigh between two, four, or five kilograms and are about 18-27 centimeters tall. The dog has a square-like body with long fur that has large wavy curls. These breeds are hypoallergenic, and they require maintenance to remove dandruff, prevent diseases, prevent smell and maintain hairstyle. Bellanca was developed specifically as a companion dog and is highly appreciated for its friendly and affectionate temperament.
Toy poodle: This breed is an excellent companion and can empathize greatly with the mood and emotions of its owners. The poodle is one of the most popular dog breeds because of the ease they provide as a companion pet and for the amusing aesthetics of its curly hair. The dog’s hair requires a lot of maintenance (combing regularly and continuous haircuts). The dog weighs between 4-5 kilograms, and its length does not exceed 30cm. This makes the dog portable; you can go with this pet anywhere in your backpack or purse. Despite the fact this dog is a good companion, sometimes it can assume an overprotective role that makes them reluctant to strangers.
Bichon Fries: If you need a small dog as a pet, I suggest you get a bichon fries. This dog is also called the curly-haired Bichon and comes from the Maltese Bichon or the water spaniel. The bichon fries are social dogs, always hungry for attention and fun with a cheerful and vivacious character. The dog is only 20cm tall and weighs between 2-4 kilograms. It has long curly hair that tends to get tangled easily; thus, you may need to comb it at least once a day.
