Combine both of them and have tightly knit stories within the duration that is extremely less compared to typical hours-long movies. 1 – Kriti:
Director: Shirish Kunder.
Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte, Neha Sharma, Manu Rishi.
What it is about: Kriti is a horror thriller suspense film that is going to keep you on the edge of your seats. Sapan, the lead character, has a girlfriend, Kriti. However, his psychiatrist Kalpana thinks that Kriti is not real but just a part of Sapan’s imagination. Kalpana asks him to prove Kriti’s existence by making her speak to Kriti or record a video. Sapan goes homes and is talking to Kriti. The short is about his attempt to convince the doctor to prove Kriti’s presence and the following events.

2 – Ahalya:
Director: Sujoy Ghosh.
Cast: Radhika Apte, Soumitra Chatterjee, Tota Roy Chowdhury.
What it is about: Ahalya is a short film that will keep you stuck to the screen throughout its duration. Filled with suspense, seduction, and deceit, the short is a re-telling of the epic story of Indra and Ahalya set in the modern era, with an interesting twist. 

Ahalya is in the Bengali language. The story follows a policeman, Indra Sen, who is on a case investigating a missing person. He goes to visit the house of an elderly artist, Goutam Sadhu, to ask a few questions. Goutam has a beautiful young wife, Ahalya. Things soon take a very surprising turn. 

3 – Chutney:
Director: Jyoti Kapur Das.
Cast: Tisca Chopra, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain, Devesh Ranjan, Sumit Gulati.
What it is about: Chutney is about Tisca Chopra’s character, who sees Rasika Dugal flirting with her husband. Rasika and Tisca have a friend talk and the latter invites the former to her home. The next day, Rasika visits Tisca and she is served pakoras with chutney. First hesitant, she then begins eating the chutney and pakoras while Tisca tells her story. The story is filled with love, betrayal, deceit, heartbreak and a terrifying end – an end that justifies the name of the film and leaves you flabbergasted.

4 – Gutthi:
Director: Abhishek Chatterjee.
Cast: Naren Yadav, Rathna Shekar Reddy, Choeeta Chakrabarti, Oindrilla Chakraborty, Payal Halder. 
What it is about: Gutthi (The Riddle) is a short film about a night-long conversation between a writer, Anand Rajan, and a garbage collector, Khalil. Anand is a noted writer and suffering from writer’s block. He catches Khalil going through his dustbin and invites him over to his house in the evening. There is another character, a young woman who Anand meets in a library and gets into a relationship with. However, she suddenly disappears without a trace.

When the writer and the garbage collector start talking to each other and narrating stories, secrets are revealed that will leave you astonished. It is filled with mystery and suspense.
