Top 10 Resolutions to Make in the New Year 2019

by Nitish Rana Writer

Another New Year and another set of New Year resolutions. Have you thought that why do we always take resolutions in the New Year’s and break them? This is because we know that we can do well without those resolutions and have a regular life. Instead, take those resolutions that can make your life better and give it a meaningful change. Here we have top 10 resolutions that all of us can or rather must make in the New Years.

1. Strive to get a Better Lifestyle by all Means

A better lifestyle means a healthy lifestyle where you eat healthy food and give up on crap eating.  A great lifestyle is also about quality living where in you earn enough and invest enough but also spend on some quality life.

You got to better at lifestyle to have a great life.

2. Quit or work on Quitting your Bad Habits

Bad habits can be anything like smoking, drinking, drugs, excess phone addiction, over eating, procrastinating, bitching, back biting, cheating, and so much more. No individual is perfect and I am sure you must be having some set of bad habits too.

Get over them this year and be a better you.

3. Increasing your Productivity

First of all find the work that you love and love the work that you do. Then work on increasing your productivity and doing more work. Lazying around and just passing your time without being productive should not be your lifestyle by any means from the coming year.

Stop thinking and do it now.

4. Expanding your Horizon and Skills

You are never too old to learn something new. So, even if your studies are over, you can expand your horizons by learning new things that interests you. This is going to make so much more skilful and better as a person too.

A person with good knowledge and education never looks back.

5. Volunteer for Some Social Work

If you haven’t done something of this sort before, it is the time to do it now. There must be so many NGOs or other welfare societies in your city which you must join and be a volunteer. You can even start some social work of your own.

This is so fulfilling by all means.

6. Solve all Your Debt Issues

If you have any kind of debt on you like education loans, home loans, or any sort of loans, do get over them in the New Year. Make plans and solve your debt issues as far as possible. Try to get over and complete all your debts in 2019.

Also, try not to indulge in debt issues if it is not super important.

7. Check out New Places

We mean check out new places in your city and as well as in other cities. Travel more this year and travelling is all fun and gaining. You gain a better perspective and you gain a lot of knowledge about the world.

You also explore yourself while you are exploring the world, so go ahead.

8. Own a pet if you Don’t

Now, this can be one of the best things that you could do to yourself. Own a pet if you don’t and if you do, own a new one. You know that pets are never enough so have a house full of pets and you will never be unhappy.

It is always overwhelming to get back home to these little ones.

9. Try to accept yourself the way you are

We all some unrealistic standards for perfection, beauty, and others, don’t we? This only ruins your mental health. So, in the New Year, take a resolution to love yourself and accept yourself no matter what.

Trust me, you will love yourself so much more once you start accepting yourself.

10. No More into Fake and Ego Altering Relationships

Go by the rule of, ‘if it’s not making you happy, it’s not worth it’. You don’t want to be in a relationship where you have to alter your personality and be someone else. These kinds of fake and ego altering relationships are not worth your time and energy. Move away from it.

You don’t need to anyone else to make you happy. You are enough.
