Factors to Consider While Buying Commercial LED Lights

• Lumens

It is important to understand that the brightness of the light is related to lumens, not watts. LED lights are preferred as they tend to consume less energy. They provide more lumen output on each watt. Based on your requirements, you can select from the LED lights offering different lumen outputs. For example, if you cover the area of 15-20 feet, you can opt for 16,000 to 20,000 lumen light. Whereas, for covering 20 to 30 feet, you would require around 40,000 lumen light.  

• Spacing

The key factor that requires attention is spacing. It depends completely on how high you wish to go. The higher you go, the bigger the fixture you would require. For example, if a commercial LED light produces 5,000 lumens while consuming 20 watts of power, the efficacy would be 250 lumens per watt. 

• Color

In high bay LED lights online, there are a limited number of color options. Based on the type of area, you can choose from the cool white, daylight, warm white. If you wish to add something similar to the traditional option, then you can go with a lower color temperature.

• Number of Lights on a Pole

Another major factor that you need to keep in mind is the number of lights to be installed on one pole. Ideally, two LED lights are enough for a pole. However, if you wish to brighten the are additionally, you can install up to 4 lights on a pole.
