This could have been such a good forum site

Apsense has been a fun place to visit for a while and the last few weeks have given me a great insight into how much damage wannabe internet marketers are doing to people (in this case Wincer) whose aim was to help them.

Apsense, a couple of years ago was a great place to visit. There were intelligent conversations to join and and enjoy as well as some very good information on the latest internet marketing developments.

As always happens, the grafiti artists have descended in great numbers and have taken over. They have no respect for basic rules (ToS) and know as much about the tat they are advertising as they do about quantum mechanics.

It has been quite an eye-opener to see that the site has been abandoned by its owner and left to the mercy of anonymous spammers who are so cowardly that the only way they can defend themselves is to delete any comments that are less than "Ooh lovely"

I don't know who is running the "Like" campaigns but the fact that so many copy and paste adverts posted as "Articles" are "liked" by so many people shows that there is a total lack of objectivity when clicking that button. A clique is clicking!

I suppose it is a bit like a kindergarten where the children are encouraged to like each other, even when there is no redeeming feature to the personalities that most children (who are, after all, very perceptive) do not like of their own accord.

It is clear that very few people at Apsense know the first thing about making money on the internet and, sadly, they are not prepared to learn their trade.

Maybe I will look in again in a few months (if the site still exists) to see just how far down the "safe list" and "traffic exchange" routes it has travelled.

It has been entertaining but a very sad experience and I honestly hope that those of you who are new to internet marketing will not see most of the activities at Apsense as being anything remotely related to business and relationship building.

Those members who are still trying to educate other members deserve a better audience.
