The New FZS Bike which everyone’s talking about!
by Ravi Singh Rana Digital MarketerThe hype for the FZ Bike was created by MotofumiShitara, The chairman of Yamaha
Motor India. "The FZ is an iconic brand of Yamaha and in India, we want to
recreate its excitement every year with additional features and new offerings.
Last year, we had launched the Yamaha motorcycle Connect X application in Dark
Knight and Vintage models as an accessory. This feature was accepted well by
our customers and moving forward with today's launch of FZS-FI, we have decided
to make it a mandatory feature for our FZS-FI Models," Yamaha Motor India
Chairman MotofumiShitara said.
Mechanical Specs
Coming to its mechanicals, FZS is very
piece indistinguishable from its archetype. It is controlled by a 149cc,
single-chamber, fuel-infused motor that puts out 12.2 bhp and 13.6 Nm of
pinnacle force. This unit is offered with a 5-speed gearbox. Equipment
arrangement of the bicycle uses an adaptive fork at front and a 7-Step movable
monocross at back. Jetty obligations are dealt with by a solitary plate of
282mm and 220mm at front and back tires individually. The Japanese bikemaker on
the event of its dispatch, said that it will keep on taking criticisms from its
shoppers and dispatch new items under the flag of 'The Call of The Blue'.
Yamaha FZ Series likewise accompany a 'side-stand motor cut-off switch', a
standard security include, offered on most cruisers nowadays.
The Engine
The new FZS-FI model mounts an
air-cooled 4-stroke 149cc SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder fuel-injected
"BLUE CORE" engine, and engine's settings were optimized to further
polish the feeling of superior acceleration from stops and exhilarating feeling
when overtaking. The ignition timing and injection maps for the fuel injection
system were completely redone so that riders get a good feeling of acceleration
while still enjoying the laidback, upright riding position.
The most eye catching feature is the Yamaha
Motorcycle Connect X .
The Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X App is
available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store for free. Once connected to
the device, it offers information about trip distance, battery voltage and
average speed. It also provides vehicle location information via the Locate My
Bike and Answer Back feature, which turns on the indicators and sounds the horn
to help find the bike in a crowded parking lot.
Besides this, the system also has an
E-lock feature that prevents theft and Hazard mode that turns on all four
indicators, to warn others of your presence while parked at the side of the
road.
While these features are welcome, the
Yamaha Bluetooth system misses out on turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS
alerts function. These features would have been useful in today's times and are
already available on the TVS Apache motorcycles.
