The Marketers Cooperative

I first began looking into the cooperative business model back into 2011. One of the first things I learned about cooperatives is that all the cooperatives in the internet marketing industry, were not legal cooperatives. 

As a cooperative, every member that joins becomes an equal owner of the cooperative with everyone else. A cooperative must be run by an elected board of directors and no member of a cooperative has a greater voice than any other member. 

This meant all the traffic exchange cooperatives, were really not cooperatives. They were just business owners who got together to offer a discount bulk package. It meant the promote for everyone type sites, were not real cooperatives they were just people who worked together. It meant all the business cooperatives, were really just small groups of people in the same business working together. 

That was huge news to me. It meant I could create something unique, something that was otherwise lacking in the marketing industry - a marketing cooperative. 

So that's exactly what I set out to do. I learned so many things about cooperatives. I setup a website, I wrote bylaws for my cooperative, I got articles of incorporation for a cooperative, and a great deal of other things. 

Now even though I call it my cooperative, thats only because I created it, its actually not my cooperative. Its the members cooperative. I could be voted off the board at any moment. 

Now the marketers cooperative, is not like any other marketing website that exists. Anyone that joins our cooperative, agree's that they will make 3 purchases of marketing services from our cooperative every year. 

This is actually a huge deal. The way it works is very simple. We go around to marketers that offer services and we get them to offer the same services through our cooperative at a fraction of the cost. And why would they do this? To get access to other services at the same type of discounts AND because we can guarantee sales because of our bylaws. 

We are talking genuine services that every last small internet business owner and marketer needs. Traffic exchange discounts, viral mailer discounts, membership site discounts, banner and video creation service discounts, SEO auditing discounts, banner exchanges, you name it. 

Now not only do we have this amazing store, but we do not collect any of the money. Our partners add their paypal address into our system and when someone buys their service, they are directly paid. We as a cooperative take no commission. 

In fact the cooperative is NOT a business. No one can join it and expect to make any money. They can join and expect to get amazing advertising and marketing services for their business, but it is not a business. There is no affiliate program, no downline building nothing! 

What's even better is the marketers cooperative website, has been created to be the most advanced social platform in existence. It offers video upload, recording, hosting and embedding, photo uploads, photo embedding from flickr, video comments, text comments, chatrooms, friends lists, messenger, podcast recording, podcast hosting, podcast uploading, timeline posting, profiles, you name it. Every feature of every major social network and many features they don't have yet. 

Utilizing our social network, unlike other networks, gets INSTANT exposure. For example if you record a podcast, in less than 24 hours that podcast is viewed by no less than 30 people. Getting people to understand what I have created, is not an easy task. Getting people involved is often even harder.

The fact our system is not open for registration and takes a personal invite is largely to account for that.
