Members of the marketers cooperative upon joining, agree to a strict set of bylaws that have been created. These bylaws explain the voting process, explains how assets of the company are broken up and distributed to members in the event the cooperative ever dissolves, and they explain buyer obligations of the member - namely that members agree to make 3 purchases a year from the cooperative store. 

It is these bylaws that make our cooperative different than most businesses. We can ensure our members agree to purchase from the store, and thus can guarantee to our partners that their products and services will be sold when they agree to work with us.

A cooperative is a HUGE business. It takes getting all sorts of different types of marketers and business owners together. 

The marketers cooperative is, as is legally required, open to any member of the public. However signup is not open to the public. All members must be sponsored in from an existing member. This helps us ensure no one joins that has not understood what they are joining. We don't want people to join without reading our bylaws, and perhaps not understand they are required to make purchases, or to not understand hey have voting rights.
