The Key to a Decent Existence, Positive Reinforcement Loops

This topic could be covered at great length, many books long. I just want to share an idea that I had and that I truly love. I am a man who believes in higher powers and things of mystical nature, yet, this one idea that is quite down to earth still fascinates me and rings true to me. 

The key to a decent existence.

With all of these self help gurus out there giving real great explanations to the law of attraction, one has to think there is an easy way to sum it up. I personally take trips down the rabbit hole and it's probably my own fault for all the confusion, because the answer is right there. 

Have you ever bought a new car and then forever as you're driving it, you notice the same car everywhere you go? Have you been excited about a new workout routine and noticed everything health related that shows up in your existence? These loops, these noticeable changes in the way we perceive our world. I am talking about the law of attraction at a practical level. I do believe wholeheartedly in the metaphysical side of it all, I believe a blending of the two would be best for anyone who wants to see the greatest results. 

Positive reinforcement loops. Everyone preaches about affirmations and I think they should. What are you accomplishing through the repetition of a phrase over and over and over. If you can feel the emotions with a positive phrase such as, "I love myself." And you are constantly feeling that, even if it's just for a brief moment in time, you are creating a positive reinforcement loop. If someone is getting on your nerves and you remember a passage you read about keeping relaxed and unwavered in your attitude, and instead of getting angry, you take a step back to breathe and be kind. This is a loop you are forming. The key is to be aware. 

Awareness is the key to it all. If you have any knowledge about living a just, peaceful and righteous life, then the key to turning knowledge to wisdom must be awareness. Feel the emotion stuck within you, but don't react so suddenly, breathe for a moment. Remember your training young jedi. You got this. I'll elaborate more another day.
