The Justified Holiday Spot in India-Jodhpur!

by Stay Mango Mango Hotels

Rajasthan is a state of beauty, colours, and vibrancy. It has the perfect holiday vibe to it. Rajasthan is a huge state. It is not the case that only one or two cities are worth visiting. Rather, there are so many cities in the state which are very beautiful. Some of them are Jaipur (the capital), Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur etc. All of them are marvelous. But the prettiest of them is Jodhpur.

Grandeur and elegance are the words that describe the city Jodhpur in its perfect way. Like Jaipur is called the Pink City, for many of the walls of the buildings and houses initially built in the city are painted with the colour pink. Similarly, Jodhpur is known as the city in blue, for the walls of many of the houses and buildings are painted in blue. This sight of the city in different shades of blue can be marvellously seen from the place which is actually the gem of the city, that is, The Mehrangarh Fort. It is one of the largest and the most important forts of India. It is situated at a pretty decent height, above the city. It is huge and mighty. The fort is the house to world-famous Rajasthani artifacts. The walls, the decorated balconies, the beautiful palanquins, the overall magnificent adornment of this massive fort is the true example of the grandness of the Rajputs. The fort houses some very famous temples too, Chamundi Mataji Temple and Nagnechiji Temple. This high level of tourism is fabulously supported by the hotels in Jodhpur. They play a major role in making the beautiful city, Jodhpur becomes more beautiful by letting the tourist have a great provision of accommodation.

The other two very beautiful pieces of Jodhpur are The Jaswant Thada and The Umaid Bhawan Palace. The Jaswant Thada is an eccentric cenotaph, built with pristine white marble. Its location is such that the backdrop is complemented with the Mehrangarh Fort. The beautiful arches and domes are accompanied with breath-taking works of lattice screens. Peace and calmness, along with unconditional beauty are what one gets when visited the Jaswant Thada. The other one is a beauty to the power of royal. Umaid Bhawan Palace is still the residence to the royal family staying in the city. Its some part has been converted into a hotel. It is a hot-favorite venue for the royal and glamorous weddings too. Its magnificence totally speaks for itself, leaving the visitor in awe.

Jodhpur is easily reachable by trains as the city is very well connected to all the cities of India. The hotels in Jodhpur near the railway station are a pretty good choice too. They look after a guest with their impeccable hospitality and let the tourist just delve into the city.
