More Power to “Amdavaad”

Gujarat has come out to be a pretty interesting state of India. With lots of pages of past attached to it, it has a great flavour of today’s development attached to it too. Of all the states, Ahmedabad is the largest city of Gujarat. Beauty sort of goes through this city, in the form of the Sabarmati river cleaving right through the middle of the city.

For people, this place is enough to visit Ahmedabad. Of course, the city is full of “Things to Do”, Sabarmati Ashram is one of a kind. It is so because, during India’s great independence war from the British, this place had been the residence for quite a long time to the person who gave up his everything just for the sake of nation’s independence, Mahatma Gandhi, who is lovingly remembered by the whole country as the father of the nation. Now that place is being maintained as a beautiful museum with artifacts and texts from his teachings are preserved there.

Ahmedabad is a city which is very well connected to all the other cities of India through the railways and the airways. Reaching Ahmedabad by airways definitely has its perks as it saves time. But travelling by train has a beauty of its own. The magical countryside that runs backward along the train is a complete blissful sight. There are other advantages too. That is the accommodation.
