The JuJutsu Federation
The European Federation is established in the year of 1977 by the
coalition of three countries' named Italy, Germany and Sweden. Soon in
the year of 1987 when the number of the member Nations increased to the
association, they changed its name to the International Ju-Jitsu
Federation (IJJF). Again in 1998,the name of the association is being
changed to Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) after a few changes
to its membership structure and Statutes. Thus, in the early of 90's
the International Ju-Jitsu Federation is awarded as an affiliated to the
Sport for All Federation (FISpT), a member of the member of
International World Games Association (IWGA).
IJJF has also announced as a provisional member of GAISF, the General Association of International Sport Federations.
The JuJutsu federation has three styles:
Duo System – A type of Kata/ Self defense presentation. It is a Choreography of techniques displayed to simulate a fight situation. Very Plastic and very nice to see. But it is not a real fight where opponents resist to the techniques.
Fighting style: Starts on a stand up position where punches and kicks are allowed, it is a point score system and not a full contact system. It reminds Karate but when clinch then it will turn in to judo where the athletes will try to throw their opponents. Rules are very similar to Judo. When on the ground it reminds Brazilian jiujitsu but the rules are very different, actually the rules are more similar to judo – ne waza or ground fighting.
The Third style is Ne- waza or Better saying Brazilian JiuJitsu: the rules are very, very, similar to IBJJF or better saying the rules are identical as UAEJJF.
It is true that Brazilian jiujitsu is more than a mere sport. It can change your life. If you want to learn self-defense, then it is significant for you to go for Jujitsu. Apart from providing a sense of control over your own safety it is a leverage-based martial art, which has benefits over MMA, muay Thai, and other martial art. It helps you to defeat larger attackers in real terms. Practicing the art or taking it as training will have the major effect on your lifestyle.
Brazilian jiujitsu is a sport, which has a perfect blend of Physical and mental Benefits. So in my opinion, it is inhabitable for the students who have just started the Brazilian jiujitsu training. The first and foremost health benefit of the session is strength and better body shape. The practice definitely changes your body to a remarkable level day by day or every week. As a result of training, soon you can witness much noticeable improvement in your overall health.
People who are regularly practicing the program are being benefited with the health gain like more flexible body, losing weight, more strength and feeling energetic. By joining this training Students get the benefits to improve their blood sugar and can have a check over their high cholesterol. The main thing is that, you should be motivated enough while you are committed to the art without getting frustrated with the training.
