by Ritika Joil ritikajoil the India-based style and beauty blogge

Kajal is an Indian word for a type of makeup that women wear around the eyes. It generally consists of a black, brown or grey soot-based powder with some type of binder mixed in, with other ingredients varying depending on regional variations.

Types of Kajal

Kajal is a type of eyeliner that is usually made from soot or charcoal. It is popular in many parts of the world, including India, Pakistan, and the Middle East. Kajal can be used for both cosmetic and medical purposes.

There are two main types of kajal: natural and synthetic. Natural kajal is made from soot or charcoal, while synthetic kajal is made from a variety of different ingredients, including mineral oils and waxes.

Kajal can be used in a number of different ways. It can be applied to the upper and lower lash line to create a dramatic look, or it can be used to line the inner rim of the eye, which is said to help keep the eyes healthy and free from infection.

If you are thinking of using kajal, it is important to choose a type that is right for you. Halal kajal is a good option as it isn't necessary to consult with a qualified beautician or doctor before using any type of kajal, especially if you have sensitive eyes.

Different ways you can use a kajal

1. Create Smokey Eyes - A smoky eye is a timeless look that can be achieved with kajal. To create a smokey eye, start by lining your upper lash line with kajal. Then, use a smudge brush to blend the kajal outwards. Next, line your lower lash line with intense black kajal and blend downwards. Finally, apply mascara to both your upper and lower lashes.

2. Draw Out Your Brows - There's no need to go crazy with your kajal when you're trying to achieve the perfect brow. A light touch is all you need to create definition and shape. Use a small, fine brush to draw out your desired shape, then fill in with intense black kajal. Voila!

3. Use as Eye Liner - Kajal can be used as eyeliner to give your eyes a dramatic look. It can be used to create thick or thin lines, depending on the look you are going for. When using intense black kajal as eyeliner, make sure to use a light hand and take your time to create a clean line.

Get creative with your kajal

With a little creativity, you can use your normal or halal kajal to create a variety of looks that will suit any occasion. Lafz kajal has many options of kajal shades, from intense black kajal to electric blue. So get out there and experiment with all the different ways you can use your kajal to create a look that is uniquely yours.
