Although exfoliation must be an integral part of your skincare regime, the entire process of scrubbing dead cells must be done in the right manner and proportion with natural essential ingredients to avoid disruption of healthy skin cells. There are various natural best face scrubs in India. Though exfoliation is extremely important, this process of scrubbing can do more harm than good if overdone, say specialists.

Honey-orange scrub

Orange peel powder is power. When mixed with oats and honey in equal amounts it can make the best exfoliator.  Adjust the consistency to make it a thick paste with a small amount of water. Apply the exfoliator mildly in upward direction with small circular strokes for effective application. Allow it to settle on the face for a couple of minutes before rinsing it well, followed with drying, toning and moisturizing.

2. Banana scrub

Two mashed ripe bananas with ground sugar works extremely well. In case you have dry skin honey can be added for hydration and moisturizing purpose. This is a mildly fragrant pulp that can be gently massaged on the face for five minutes prior to washing it off with cool water.

3. Curd and papaya scrub

Make a mixture of half-a-cup of ripe mashed papaya with hung curd.  Add a few drops of fresh lemon juice to this mixture and one tablespoon of honey would be a nourishing add on. This is literally the best face scrub for blackheads

4. Ground oats and tomato scrub

This works great as a blackhead removal scrub. Mix a plate full of ground oats with powdered sugar. After that slice two big red and ripe tomatoes. You can dip these two large thick slices of tomatoes into the earlier prepared mixture of ground oats and sugar mixture. Why Tomatoes? Tomatoes act as a natural bleaching agent. Moreover, oats works great to soothe your skin.

5. Lemon scrub for your hands, feet

Take one lemon and slice it into two halves. You can further scrub your hands and feet for five minutes with it. But never use it on your sensitive facial skin.

In case you have active acne it does not mean you cannot use a scrub. Scrubs for sensitive skin in minute proportions can be used less frequently. This will avoid aggravating your skin problem. You can also use a pore minimize such as alcohol-free toner or rose water post scrubbing.  Each and Every exfoliating scrub must have some minute granules, For instance, homemade ground sugar also works well.
