The classification of copper

We all know that copper is widely used in various fields, but seldom of us know the exact information about copper. Now, in order to let most of our existing clients and potential customers know more about copper, as a copper equipment manufacture, I’d like to talk about the classification of copper.

 

China's copper and copper alloy are usually classified by color and generally divided into four categories. The first kind is copper, which refers to pure copper, the main varieties of it are oxygen-free copper, copper, phosphorus deoxidized copper, silver and copper. The second type is brass, which is alloys made of copper and zinc, that can be subdivided into simple and complex brass brass, brass complex again named as the third element of nickel brass, silicon brass. The third type is bronze, which is the copper alloy except copper-nickel, and zinc alloy. The products of it are aften provided on the copper melting furnace wholesale.The main varieties of it are bronze, aluminum bronze, special bronze (also known as high-copper alloy). The last kind is copper-nickel alloy, which is a copper-nickel based alloy.

 

The price of copper is high. Copper is also known as red copper which has good electrical conductivity and thermal resistance, excellent ductility because of it's purity and easy to hot and cold pressure processing. Red copper is elemental copper which is well known as its purple color.It is not necessarily pure copper, and sometimes a small amount of deoxygenated elements or other elements to improve the material and performance, it is also classified as a copper alloy. This kind of copper can produced into customized graphite mould.
