Temperature Test Bench

The temperature test bench is intended for testing throttle valves with hot air. The test bench is aimed for operation as a closed air circuit with varied pressures. The test items are fitted in a climatic chamber. The efficient resistance of the throttle valves is to be tested against a thermal load. Border conditions are a cyclic temperature profile for the inlet air and one for the ambient air of the item. Overall 6 items are tested concurrently in one test sequence. The throttle valves are to be exposed to identical thermal loads. This comprises the same inflow velocity, degree of turbulence and temperature. For this purpose, the items are associated in parallel. The system control is prepared via a PC with precise NI measurement data acquisition hardware and a depth and control software under Lab VIEW.

Our thermal management test benches permit the testing of complete automotive AC circuits, with their apparatuses and the various refrigerants, under real conditions. Our flexible design makes it possible to compliantly adapt test benches to different air conditioning systems, reducing set-up times. The media-supply modules essential for air conditioning and salt-water circuits can be separately customized for the process according to our customer’s specific needs. Temperature, dampness, and air-mass flow are set with very high control quality and precision, guaranteeing repeatable test results.

We have patented, innovative solution, intended to shorten development times and decrease the energy consumption involved in authenticating refrigerant compressors. By creating the thermodynamic conditions for testing each compressor, our tremendously compact unit saves you setting up a comprehensive refrigerant circuit.
