Every season gifts us some special fruits and so does summer! During summers fruits can be served as a healthy snack or converted into delicious recipes. This will not only keep your kids hydrated but also strengthen their immune systems.
So below are the top summer fruits for your kids to enjoy this summer!
Watermelon: This juicy delicious fruit is filled with
vitamin A, B1, B6 and vitamin C which helps kids to stay energetic, fight
infections and stay hydrated. Watermelon is also known as an anti-inflammatory fruit.
The antioxidant named lycopene in watermelon helps to reduce inflammation in
the body and protects it from free radicals.
You can serve watermelon to kids in form of juice, mix it in a mint salad, or just cut in into small cubes and sprinkle some chaat masala over it.
2. Mangoes: The King of fruits is everyone’s favorite and is rich in several vitamins. It is loaded with fiber which aids to reduce gastrointestinal disorders among children. The high amount of vitamin A helps to improve vision while glutamine acid helps to boost memory among children.
Mangoes can be best served as mango milkshakes, homemade mango ice-cream, coconut/papaya and mango smoothie etc.
