Straight cuts are the new sensation

High-end party wears were always constrained to Anarkali type salwar and flowy gown type salwar. But long, straight cut salwar are coming back into fashion and how. Big time celebs and movie stars are seen flaunting these with pride.

Straight cut dresses are suitable for every body type and it makes us look tall and lean.  They beautifully enhance our figure and make us look desirable. Straight suits were usually stitched in normal materials such as cotton and were worn on the routine basis. But all of a sudden it made a huge comeback in the designer wear section. Fashionistas and country’s celebrity designers started cooking out awesome styles by keeping the straight cut as a base. The length of the suits was increased and then a slit was kept till the hip, to make the dresses look contemporary and stylish.  the slit in the middle of the salwar paired with a legging or tight pants created a whole new outlook to this kind of suits. The straight cut salwar has designs on them which mostly starts from the ends and finishes at the middle thus making the user look taller and leaner.

There are various designs that are made on the straight cut suits, that make them more wanted than the usual part wears. They are simple and classy sometimes that you can attend functions and office wearing the same salwar. Sometimes the suits are filled with designs and stone works that they can be worn for weddings. Pants for these suits are mostly tight gatherings or leggings as only they will enhance the entire look of the suit. These salwars are basically Pakistani type and widely worn in the Punjab region. Kashmiri embroidery is mostly done on these type of suits and is worn with Patiala pants. This looks a totally different look for the straight dresses and makes them look more traditional. This kind of suits is hugely worn by older people in the Punjab and Haryana region. It not only makes them graceful but also makes them feel young at heart and of course it is their traditional dress. Straight cut gowns and maxis have ruled the west for decades and it has slowly crept into our country lately. Girls who were crazy about umbrella cut gowns and suits are now betting on straight cut dresses. Though teenagers still drool over the flowy princess gowns, girls in mid-twenties crave only for the suits and dresses that make them look classy and trendy. 

Straight cut suits with ankle length pants and palazzo pants can be worn on casual outings and office outings. Cotton is the material for such outfits and it widely used by journalists as they have to run around outdoors. Straight cut salwars makes us look ravishing without adulterating our traditions. Doesn’t it feel really good when we can make our elders happy with our dressing and still have our friends’ jaw drop when we walk into their party?
