- At first you need to click on the "Start" button and then you are required to click on the "Control Panel" icon, which is present on the Start menu. Clicking this button will automatically open the Control Panel window.
- After the control panel window opens, you are supposed to click on the "Switch to Classic view" link, which you can find in the left-side navigation pane of the Control Panel window. In cases, where the Control Panel window is set to classic view, the "Network Connections" icon will be displayed in the right-side pane.
- Moving further, you are supposed to double-click on the "Network Connections" icon in the Control Panel window in order to open the Network Connections window.
- Later you are required to navigate the connection of the wireless router settings that you want to find in the Network Connections window. After the process of navigation is completed, make sure that you have right-clicked on the connection followed by clicking on the "Properties" option, which is available after you opening the context menu. - In the last step itself, users are supposed to click on the "Wireless Networks" tab in the Wireless Network Connection window to switch to the Wireless Networks page. Click on the "Properties" button, which can be found in the preferred networks section of the Wireless Networks page after you click the name of the router whose settings you want to find. Doing so will actually open the properties window for that connection and the wireless router settings will appear on your screen
