Safety and fun are two words that never really seem to go together (positively) in a sentence, do they? How often have you thought to yourself that you’d like to go skating in a safe way? Or that the new high visibility clothing you’ve just got would look great at a party? The chances are you haven’t really considered safety to be a fun sort of thing – but that may all be about to change.

If you like to take to the streets at night to run off the stresses and strains of the day, you’ll know that being visible to oncoming traffic is a must. You’ll probably have had some experience of running down poorly lit streets, and the mild sense of panic that it can bring. You’ll also know that many of the products that have been brought out to make you more visible really don’t make it any easier to run. So what’s the answer?

Have you ever considered adding glow resin to your favourite running gear? Glow resin and glow sheets can quickly and easily be added to the parts of your equipment that would provide you with the best visibility when out running – or doing any other activity that requires you to stay safe and seen when in low light situations.

Available in up to six different colors, these amazing products will emit a glow that not only can be seen by oncoming traffic, it will glow for as long as you need to wear it. It won’t require you to carry around bulky batteries, it’s safe to wash, and it’s light enough to make sure that you aren’t hampered in anyway by wearing it. The small resin particles can be attached to areas where it wouldn’t be practical to use glow sheets, ribbon, or rope; but you could, of course, decide to make a whole new outfit from the sheets so that you glow from head to toe.

Having the flexibility to customize your clothing and equipment with these products gives you the chance to be really creative, too. For instance, instead of just having a glowing sash, you could design an elaborate pattern and mix and match the colors within the pattern, etc., etc. If you take the dog out for a walk at nights why not add a bit of color to his collar so that you can see him in the dark? Even at home it can be a great idea – hand’s up if you’ve ever walked into a dark room and tripped over a black dog... no? So, it’s just me that does that, then?

Also, you might have quickly realized that this can be used as more than just a safety precaution for night time exercising. If you have a party to go to, and want to add a bit of something different to your outfit, then why not have selected parts of it that glow in the dark? It will add a whole new element to your outfit, and make you (literally) stand out in the crowd.

As you can see, you can be safe and have fun at the same time. Take a few minutes now to visit www.LunaBrite.com to have a look at the various glow products and colors on offer. Then you can spend the rest of the day figuring out what items of clothing or equipment you’d like to add a burst of color to, and just what sort of designs you’re going to add to make you stand out from the crowd – and more importantly, oncoming traffic in dimly lit areas.
