Some Famous Pirates Who Are Fascinating the People

In History, we find around 5500 raiders in the western world, in the era named “Golden Age of Piracy”. Similarly, 7000 pirates existed in the Chinese golden era of this outlaw act. The influence of these raiders reached the extent that people started wearing pirate shirts, pants, skirts and boots etc., for the purpose of fashion. The lifestyles of the raiders undoubtedly fascinated the people so much that they started posing like them in various ways. Some other aspects, such as their sailor-like lifestyle, their treasure hunts and their bravery etc., are other reasons behind this fascination.

Now, the question, which remains unanswered, is that which are those raiders who fascinate the people a lot? To answer this, the romanticized versions of the raiders in various Hollywood movies inspire the people at the first place.  The example of Captain Jack Sparrow of “Pirates of the Caribbean” series is in front of us. This romantic freebooter is not as ruthless as the actual raiders used to be (however, we find the exceptions also). He makes fun on several instances in the films. It adds one more reason about the people’s fascination about the raiders, i.e., the fun activities. The pirate costumes of Jack Sparrow are also very popular in the market. Some special Jack Sparrow style dresses have been designed for the females also.

On the other hand, various historical pirates also provided the fascination to the people up to some extent. Blackbeard and Calico Jack were two famous notorious raiders whose styles can be copied in dresses by the people. Besides, Mary Read and Anne Bonny motivate the females to wear the pirate clothing. These two female raiders were not behind men in the combats and other pirate activities.

The abovementioned pirates are the subject of fascination for the western world. If we talk about the eastern nations like China and Korea, we do not find so much enthusiasm about the raiders’ lifestyles, despite the fact that the number of pirates in China was much higher as compared to past. Still, we can take some name, which can provide the fashion stuff to the people of this reign. Zheng Yi Sao was one of the famous female pirates, who gained the popularity. This raider got the place in “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies also. Moreover, we can find the romanticized version of many other historical raiders in that film. The abovementioned pirates are definitely influencing the lifestyles of many people in a positive manner.
