SNAP 2015 - Result / Cutoff
SNAP 2015 - Symbiosis International University has conducted SNAP 2015 on 20 December 2015 to offer admission to interested and eligible candidates in MBA postgraduate programs for session 2016-18. It is one of the most reputed and sought after management entrance examinations in the country. Decision for admission will be made on the basis of merit. Successful candidates will be offered allotment in Symbiosis Institute and other participating business schools of the country. There was a single application form for the SNAP examamination but separate application forms for all the participating institutes.
SNAP 2015 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be a graduate from any state or central recognized university.
- He must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination.
- Minimum percentile is different for some specific programs which require subject specialization.
SNAP 2015 Application Form
Candidates registered on the official website of the exam till 24 November 2015. They were asked to enter all the details – personal, correspondence, and educational qualification correctly and completely. Also, they had to upload scanned images of signature and photograph in correct format and resolution. On successful registration, an ID was generated which was used to fill rest of the application form and pay the application fee. Candidates were given four options to make the payment - cash, demand draft, credit/debit card, and net-banking. On payment, they were asked to retain the fee payment receipt to produce later.
SNAP 2015 Exam Pattern
I. Exam
- Exam was held in offline mode.
- Candidate was given OMR sheet to take the exam. He had to mark their answers using pen by darkening the appropriate circle.
- Only black or blue ball point pen was allowed to take the exam.
- Net duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
II. Question Paper
- In the exam, there were a total of 180 questions distributed over 4 sections.
- Distribution of questions and marks in the sections of the examination is as follows:
- Analytical Logical Reasoning – 60 questions (60 marks)
- General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs & Business Scenario – 40 (40 marks)
- Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency – 40 questions (40 marks)
- General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability – 40 (40 marks)
III. Marking Scheme
For each correct answer, 1 mark was credited. For each incorrect answer, ¼ marks were deducted from the total score.
Candidates can check the result of the examination in online mode on the official website of the examination. Date of declaration of the result has been set as 11 January 2016. Direct link to check the result will also be hosted on EntranceCorner for the sake of convenience of candidates. In the result, they will be able to check the sectional score, aggregate score, percentile score, and cutoff. Those who are able to cross the benchmark of cutoff will be asked to appear in the next rounds of admission process. Higher the score mean better chance of getting favorite allotment.
