SEO revisited : Panda Hobbies Notice A Fresh Update
Some of you may remember me making a few articles about SEO last year. My name is Robert and you can currently find me most active on Google+ and this is my SEO revisited Panda Hobbies Notice a Fresh Update. Not everyone like Panda's most most people do and the other updates that my interests have taken me have been the other update I forget I know they interchange between the two as they implement and grow.
There is good news, great news and well news you should know about. As ApSense members most of these simple tips should help you in some way because the chances are you will already have these things in place. Now do not worry this is nothing to serious and will only take a couple of hours of your time to edit or add.
What I want you to do some time before the end of September to just revisit and check some of the things I mention here. I will keep it as brief as humanly SEO possible. One of my hobbies online is studying SEO and this week I have noticed a fresh update that is happening over the next eight days. There are more changes happening, but that's ok and is beyond the scope or responsibility of anyone person, this is perhaps why I like this topic. I share what I know with friends in the hope they get back to me with the results. I do my best not to waste other peoples time even though this SEO hobby takes up a lot of mine. Again I hope you understand as you read this thread (like all good SEO hobbyists do).
Panda Update SEO September 2012 Fresh Update
A lot of people think SEO might be dead now that these updates have happened but as Google mentioned recently in a Q and A Hangout this is far from the truth. The one thing that is true is larger companies who have paid for this service will have to pay some more for the work done to be checked and thoroughly checked. So what I am going to do is share with you three things that you can check regardless of whether you recognise anything that I am saying here. I know I am covering a very broad spectrum and I apologise. What I want for you and me is know some very simple things, this may take more than one article to do, so.
"Yesterday I received my first cheque from Google which made me very happy as I am sure it would you to. Search engine optimisation in case you do not already know is one way of getting visitors to your web domain. Now don't think for any reason I work for Google or that I may be giving misinformation or anything I am just passing the message of what I have learned, this post is as much for me as it is for you. The cheque was for five years hard work and was very small, that said it made me extremely happy. I see it as a bit like climbing Mount Everest, you have got to the top and when you do you realise in actual fact its not that much of a big deal." Robert Bridge.
Since this years updates many experts and other enthusiasts with websites or who are working in companies that implement this very common service have been revealing the methods used by SEO companies to increase website rankings. They may also or do content management to check over the look and feel of what organic traffic a website or web-name (keywords) are receiving. This is very simple Search information stuff, in fact the Internet is showered with this type of information. Thankfully Google are taking the reigns now and trying to answer as many questions as possible that people have. Content management is what the world see's within about and around what you business, some things that might concern you and want to take action are when you site has strange links and is recognised as such, these are things that either need to be deleted or in the content management side need to be pushed down or completely disappear from search. There are so many factors to improve and test no work in this area goes to waste.
This post is a blurb as much as a theoretical explanation, I share some simple tips about old and new methods that still work after this weeks new updates according to news in from various people within the SEO niche. Just a sub-note most of what I announced in the video's made a year or so ago still apply. The main thing I want to share about here is relevant to Wordpress, yes I am still using Wordpress as I am sure you are too. This SEO ramble therefore be applicable fo people with a blog or a website that is indexed well and looks neat and tidy. The main thing I want to bring across is about a plugin I recommended a month ago on my website robert-bridge.co.uk. The plugin in the post I sent out for retweet was a plugin I am sure you all know. It is called the Webmaster Central Plugin, its great becuase it includes many different places where you can have your site indexed with the relevant code on site so that it works and verifies immediately.
So let me explain a little bit more in relation to the fresh 2012 update this week about SEO revisited and what I noticed from my hobbies and interests about Panda.

Well that is just typical and as much as you get my point I am adding here what little I knew two years ago, so fogive any syntax errors or spelling mistakes that I make, this is something as a blogger I know I can go make and fix. Editing is great and keyword research is great but requires a bit of work. SEO people often want to reword your copy and reinforce the related synonyms to these words. they may want those images you have that show your company in a decent light into a new name that fits into the puzzle of your own domain names and related posts. Some of them have taken initiatives and shared and got involved in conversations on various sites and forums. This is something that may need revisiting and if you have paid the money for people to do this for you, you may want either them or yourself to double check what these links are, are they still live and what is the output of these links. Checking links is quite easy for SEO and anyone else, you can just Google that task. What I have already mentioned is the thing I want to share here with our community in relation to links submitted via web-central to the search. And yes it is relevant to any editing or improvements you may have done over the years. Yes it is about cached pages and yes it is also very simple stuff about blank links that no longer work and should not be there.
So here is the thing because I am very tired now after typing and I apologise for crunching in a lot about me, this is a trait I have and something that has been instilled in me my the friends and associates who are successfully more so than me doing this sort of thing. The Plugin I mentioned is the Webmaster Central.
In my blog post I recommended this plugin and like all the other relevant SEO stuff that is in my head and on my hardrive it still works regardless of any Panda updates.
The updates and logirtythms will be in the Webmaster central places, you just need to login and search around. Additionally for outside influence if you have concerns about lower rankings or de indexed pages there are websites that for free will tell you every URL pointing to your URL property.
This can be edited too, you just need to search around, infact WordPress has a plugin for this too, its called a Link Checker, this reads your internal links and links that you have made outside of your domain. It seeks out and easily deletes any links you have that are dud's and such. The difference between logging into web master central and logging into your own blog and finding this stuff out is very similar but equally as important. The best thing is as well is these two things are by far the easiest to rectify in the eye of Google about the changes that are about to take place. As I sure you will know as a user of Web-master Central its not all about Google, you are also logging into Bing and other sites that track, promote and test everything you are doing.
Perhaps as a subnote and remember I am always learning stuff this is why I write and this is why I like sharing these Panda Hobbies I will add some more tips. Part of me thinks I do not want to step on anyone's toes to being mindful of this I will continue but bear in mind what I am sayin is very basic stuff. Infact this basic stuff is everywhere online, with the traffic methods we have inside ApSense none of this really matters.
So I would like to finish with the analogy of the dart board that gets pushed by SEO companies when they ask you for an e-mail to join. Anyone who knows about darts and has a dart board for a few years, the dart board gets whethered the more darts touch base. At some point you need to replace the dart board with a new one. And when you do you will have to get used to that new dart board. You will have to find out if the players are still playing so you can still compete and have competitions. The place where you have you dart board in the room where this takes place might not be in the most strategic place and at some point you or someone on behalf of you might have to let other people know of any changes or any updates.
