Result of MICAT 2016 - Check Details

MICAT 2016 Result shall be issued for all those candidates who appear in the examination on 14 February 2016 to take admission in PGDM from Management-Communication course. It will be released online by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmadabad (MICA) on its official website. Direct link of the same shall be hosted on EntranceCorner as well for the ease of access of candidates. The exact date of declaration of result is not yet known however it is expected to fall in the 1^st week of March 2016. Characteristics of Result of MICAT 2016

MICAT 2016 Result will not be sent to any candidate in post or courier. It can be checked only in online mode on the official website of MICA or EntranceCorner. It will show a candidate’s performance in the form of sectional score, aggregate score, qualification status, and ranking. No claim of rechecking the answers by the candidates will be entertained by MICA. All the answers will be evaluated using highly precise computer systems. Those who are able to score marks more than or equal to the cutoff will be shortlisted for next round of admission process i.e. group exercise and personal interview.

It is to be remembered that merely getting shortlisted in the MICAT 2016 Merit List doesn’t necessary mean final selection. Group exercise and personal interview are expected to commence in the 2^nd week of March 2016. Final result of the selected candidates will be prepared after considering score from the written exam, group exercise, and personal interview. Higher the score mean better chance of getting selected. Cutoff will also be applied to screen the candidate at various levels. The final result is expected to be issued in the 3^rd week of March 2016.

How to check the Result of MICAT?

To check the result of the exam, candidate must have access to computer system with high speed internet connectivity. The first step is to access the official website of MICA on the system. On the homepage, candidate will be asked to enter his login ID and password to access his account. Once the details are fed and submit button is pressed, candidate will be logged in. Now, he must check and click the tab where merit list for GE-PI round would be given. At this stage, MICA ID should be entered. On pressing the check button, status of the candidate for GD/PI round will be displayed. On the same homepage, link for MICAT 2016 Scorecard will be provided through which the candidate can see the marks obtained by him in the exam. It is suggested to take a printout of the scorecard for reference purpose in the future.
