Relationship Therapists Do Make A Difference
Take a moment to think about your life. Consider what matters
and what doesn't matter. For most people, when they look at most of the things that
they put in the "What Matters" column, they will find that most, if
not all, of the items involve their various relationships. Their relationships may
revolve around those they develop in the workplace, addressing issues such as
how they get along with their co-workers or their boss. Alternatively, they could
be their personal relationships, such as those that they have cultivated and
developed with their family, their friends, and their spouse or significant
other. These relationships are the things you likely value. These are the
things that matter in your life.
We all value our relationships. Our relationships are central to
our sense of self. They give us strength. They lift us up when we are down.
They help us carry through when our lives become difficult. They are the garden
where we find the food that provides the nutrition that we need to feed our
souls. And just like any garden they need tending. When our gardens
are not tended, weeds grow and take over. When neglected, the flowers won't bloom
and the vines will wither. Without feeding and watering, our gardens will die.
Just as we need to learn how to tend our gardens, we need to
learn how to tend to our relationships. At Alive for Wellness, we help you to not
only learn the skills that you need to do nurture
your relationships, but we also
help you develop the confidence to succeed in building healthy and
life-sustaining relationships. These are relationships that will carry you
through the joys and trials that Life will throw at you. We are trained,
professional relationship mentors. We have many years of experience helping
people learn and develop the skills they need to build and sustain strong,
productive relationships. Of course, this is not something that will happen
overnight. It will happen, but like any type of change, it will take time. And,
like most types of change. it usually doesn’t happen without some professional
help.
The Alive for Wellness team will work with you, side-by-side, insuring that you will make real
progress. We don't just try to patch problems and send you on your way. We work
to provide real solutions to serious problems. Relationship problems can
adversely affect your work and your life. They need to be taken seriously. The sooner a
person faces the realities of a broken or suffering relationship, the sooner they
can start taking the steps needed to correct it, tend to it, and get back to
enjoying their lives.
Whether you are suffering from a relationship fracture or
you want to improve and strengthen your existing relationships, reach out and
let us here at Alive help you to develop the necessary skills. Remember, just
as good mental health needs healthy relationships, healthy relationships need
good mental health. To learn more
