Rangers have remained unbeaten in domestic competition this season, while Glasgow City have been kept apart by Spartans. In the Scottish Women's Cup, Celtic and Kilmarnock have met in the semi-finals, while Hibernian have knocked out Celtic on penalties.

Celtic meet Spartans in Scottish women's competition

Celtic women have been knocked out of the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals by Spartans, who have not conceded a single goal all season. Celtic had been firm favourites, but Spartans came from behind to win 2-1. Clarissa Larisey netted her eleventh goal of the season after 12 minutes and Celtic were reduced to ten players after Jacynta was sent off.

Spartans have reached the SWPL cup quarter-finals after defeating Glasgow City, while Celtic are aiming to defend their title. Motherwell, on the other hand, will be looking to win their first SWPL Cup. In the other quarter-finals, Glasgow City will host Hamilton Academical, and Kilmarnock are due to face seven-time winners Hibernian.

Celtic FC Women are on 100% form after beating Hibs 9-0 and Partick Thistle 2-0 in their last two home matches. Their next SWPL1 match against Rangers is postponed due to a Champions League match, but this game will help Celtic gain momentum for the rest of the season.

Celtic and Spartans are both keen to make their mark in European women's football. Both teams have invested time and resources into developing their teams' female teams. Full-time players have more time for preparations and are able to dedicate more hours to their teams. Celtic have the potential to move up the table and catch the big two in Europe.

Kilmarnock meet Kilmarnock in Scottish women's competition

Kilmarnock Women have progressed to the Quarter-Finals of the Sky Sports Cup after beating Gartcairn 1-0 at BBSP Stadium. A header from Kirsty O gave Killie a half-time lead. They have now qualified for the Scottish Women's Premier League. They have won all five of their games this season.

The league is the same as last week, with Arbroath and Morton both on three points. There's a chance of a draw, but both teams have been in excellent form. Arbroath and Kilmarnock are unbeaten in their last six matches, and Kilmarnock have 13 points from six games. Arbroath drew their last outing against Kilmarnock, but Kilmarnock have been dominant at home on artificial surfaces. They are looking for their seventh consecutive win.

Rangers have made a number of changes to their squad. Phyllis McLeish has been named to the board, becoming the club's first female board member in over 20 years. Another new board member is Cathy Jamieson, who was previously the MP for Kilmarnock and Loudoun. Jamieson is a lifelong Killie supporter.

The game will start at 7.45pm and is expected to be well attended with a large crowd expected. Fans can watch the match live on BBC Scotland.
